Both teams to score, written GG or BTTS on most betting slips, asks one question: will each side find the net at least once? The final result does not matter. A 1-1 draw wins, a 3-2 away win wins, and a 4-0 thrashing loses. This page lists the model's GG and NG tips for today and tomorrow.

What wins and what loses
- BTTS yes (GG) wins if the home team and the away team both score in the 90 minutes. Own goals count for the side they are credited to.
- BTTS no (NG) wins if at least one team ends the match without a goal, including any 0-0 or a clean-sheet win.
Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are not included. A goal in stoppage time does count.
How we work out the chance
The model expects a certain number of goals from each side, based on attack against defence, the competition's scoring level and home advantage. From that it calculates the chance that the home team scores at least once and the chance that the away team does, and combines them through its full scoreline grid. The Dixon–Coles correction matters here: it adjusts the low scores such as 1-0, 0-1 and 1-1, which decide many BTTS bets.
Like the goal lines, both teams to score is calibrated, because raw Poisson numbers are too confident about goals. Where the bookmaker's odds are in our data, the result is blended half and half with the margin-free price.
A tip appears at 58% for yes and 62% for no. Teams with fewer than eight matches in our data get no tip.
Reading probability and fair odds
If the model gives GG 64%, the fair odds are 1 ÷ 0.64, about 1.56. A bookmaker price of 1.75 on that match means the bet pays more than the model thinks it is worth. A price of 1.45 means it pays less. The percentage tells you how often the tip should land over many matches; the price tells you whether it is worth the risk.
What changes a BTTS bet
GG depends on the weaker attack as much as the stronger one, and the model cannot see the news that matters most here:
- The weaker side's striker. If the team that scores less often loses its main forward, a GG tip loses much of its support.
- Game state and tactics. A favourite that scores early may slow the game down; an underdog that only needs a draw may defend with ten men behind the ball.
- Goalkeepers. A first-choice keeper out injured on either side shifts both teams' chances.
- Congestion and weather. Tired squads and waterlogged pitches tend to mean fewer clear chances at both ends.

Frequently asked questions
What does GG mean in betting?
GG (goal-goal) is the same bet as both teams to score: yes. It wins when each side scores at least once in the 90 minutes, whatever the final result. NG (no goal) is the opposite: at least one team fails to score.
How accurate are your BTTS tips?
A BTTS yes tip is printed only at 58% or more, and a no tip at 62% or more. Over many matches, a 60% tip should land about six times in ten. The settled results are counted in the track record, so you can check how close the model gets.
Can I combine GG with over 2.5?
We do not tip the combined bet, but you can read both numbers: this page gives the BTTS chance and the over 2.5 page gives the goals chance for the same match. The two are linked, since most GG results also have three or more goals, so the combined chance is not simply one multiplied by the other.

Which leagues give the most BTTS tips?
It changes with the season. Competitions with a high scoring level and evenly matched teams tend to produce more GG tips; competitions with a low scoring level, or matches with a clear favourite, lean towards NG. The tables list the competition next to every match.
